File Prep
For a 3.5” x 2” business card, your design file should be 3.75” x 2.25”. This allows for a 0.125” bleed area on all sides to ensure the background color or image will show to the edges of the card when it is cut.
Accepted File Formats
- .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .jpe, .png, .pdf, .ai, .eps, .ps
For best results
- Include crop marks
- Use images with a resolution of 300 dpi
- Ensure all fonts are embedded in the file
- Save designs as a vector-based PDF
